With creative burnout on the rise, and AI risking the future of some creative careers, is it time we re-evaluate the way we tackle briefs? Is sitting down and brainstorming the most effective? Is there a more interactive route that interrogates all parts of our process, and gets us to exist in the experience beyond ourselves?
A Brief Dress Rehearsal is a challenge to traditional approaches to creative briefs. By applying Theatre in Education Pedagogical techniques, maybe the same inquisition that proves effective in the classroom can lead to new and fresh perspectives for design studios and advertising agencies.
Will you turn a brief to advertise a neon highlighter into a Shakespearean Tragedy? Or will you explore the journey of red wine through the lens of a musical set in a rainy city?
